LAST TIME OUT: The fourth-ranked Duke men’s tennis team picked up its second victory at the ITA National Team Indoors in Seattle, Wash., over then-No. 5 Pepperdine, 4-1. The duo of Michael Redlicki and Jason Tahir clinched the doubles point for the Blue Devils with an 8-7 (4) win on court two over Pepperdine’s Sebastian Fanselow and Alex Sarkissian. After dropping the first set of his match in singles, 1-6, on court three, Redlicki came from behind and sealed the team win with a 1-6, 7-6 (4), 6-4 victory over Sarkissian.

DOUBLES TEAMS IN TOP-10: The Blue Devils are one of two schools in the nation, joined only by fellow ACC foe Virginia, to boast two doubles tandems ranked in the top-10 of the latest ITA doubles rankings. Henrique Cunha and Raphael Hemmeler are ranked fourth, while the pair of Jason Tahir and Michael Redlicki entered the top-10 of the rankings for the first time this season at No. 9. 

SMITH FAST APPROACHING 100 CAREER WINS: Head coach Ramsey Smith is quickly approaching the 100th victory of his coaching tenure. After the squad posted a two victories in ITA National Team Indoors, the fifth-year coach sits at 94 career wins. He would become the fourth head coach in program history to reach 100 wins, joining John LeBar (184), Steve Strome (160) and Jay Lapidus (373)
VERSUS VCU: The Blue Devils will meet the Rams of Virginia Commonwealth for the 36th time in school history, with Duke holding a 32-3 advantage in the all-time series history, including a perfect 20-0 in all-time home match-ups. The two teams last played on March 3, 2012 as the Duke defeated VCU, 5-2, in Richmond, Va.

SCOUTING THE RAMS: VCU comes to Durham ranked 28th in the latest ITA rankings and own an 11-3 ledger for the season after defeating Illinois State, 6-1, Saturday in Richmond, Va. The team is led in the  singles rankings by senior Max Wennakoski who is listed at 15th, while junior Alexis Huegas is ranked at No. 99. The Rams boast two ranked doubles pairs, as Jamie Vazquez Catoira and Alejandro Argente are listed at No. 38, while the duo of Heugas and Dylan McCloskey come in at No. 39.

COMING UP: The Blue Devils will travel to Berkeley, Calif., to face California for its final nonconference match of the season Sunday, March 10 at 4 p.m. ET. Duke will return home to open its conference schedule against Wake Forest on Friday, March 15 at 1 p.m.
