DURHAM, N.C. – For the second time over the last two months, Duke University rising senior Mollie Pathman will travel to Chula Vista, Calif., for a training session with the U.S. Under-23 Women’s National Team from May 11-18.

Pathman is one of 24 players named to the camp, which features 22 current collegiate players, one former collegian and one professional player.  The roster features seven players, including Pathman, from the U.S. team that won the 2012 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Japan.

A native of Durham, N.C., Pathman is a two-time All-ACC selection at Duke.  She has played in 63 career games, recording 15 goals and 22 assists while leading the Blue Devils to consecutive appearances in the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament, highlighted by a trip to the NCAA College Cup in 2011. In addition to the 2012 FIFA U-20 World Cup, the junior defender has represented the United States at the 2012 CONCACAF U-20 Women’s Championship in Panama and the Four Nationals Tournament in La Manga, Spain.
