With runners on base, Gallagher is batting .329 (25-for-76), including 19 of his 21 RBI on the season. Gallagher, has played all three outfield positions this season, as well as first base. In Wednesday’s contest against Columbus, Hassan was 2-for-4 at the plate with two doubles and a run scored. Hassan hit his first home run of the season in the bottom of the eighth inning that turned out to be the Pawtucket’s only hit of the contest in a 2-1 against Buffalo. He was rated by Baseball America as having the best strike zone judgment in the Red Sox organization entering the 2012 season. Hassan is listed on Boston’s 40-man roster.
