One night prior, Hassan launched his second home run of the season, as he recorded three RBI and walked two times in the game against Rochester. Rated by Baseball America as having the best strike zone judgment in the Red Sox organization entering the 2012 season, Hassan has walked 16 times on the Triple-A level and 26 times in the 34 games he has played on the season. He is listed on Boston’s 40-man roster.

Kremer became Duke’s 13th active player in professional baseball when he signed with the Rockford Aviators of the Frontier League earlier this season. Kremer has been the Aviators best hitter this season, batting .400 (32-for-80) in his first 23 contests as a pro. He has hits in nine of his last 10 games he has played, including his last six.  Rockford is 16-34 and 15.5 games back of Gateway in the West.

O’Grady had his best month of the season in June, with a 1.26 ERA with 13 strikeouts and four walks in 14.1 innings pitched. In the month of July, O’Grady has a 1.50 ERA with four strikeouts and two walks. He earned his third victory of the year in a July 11 contest against Bakersfield, pitching one inning and allowing just one hit. For the season, O’Grady’s 58 strikeouts rank fifth on the Storm roster.
