Receiving 26 of 29 first place votes was defending NCAA Champion Southern California as the Trojans were ranked No. 1.  Alabama, Duke, UCLA, Arizona State, Oklahoma, Arizona, Arkansas, Vanderbilt and Florida rounded out the top 10.  Rounding out the top 25 was Stanford, Washington, Purdue, Oklahoma State, North Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Tulane, Texas, N.C. Duke returns five letterwinners from its NCAA runner-up squad from a year ago, including senior All-America Laetitia Beck, honorable mention All-America Alejandra Cangrejo and honorable mention All-America Celine Boutier.  The Blue Devils also welcome back junior Irene Jung and sophomore Yi Xiao.

Brooks has brought in three very talented freshmen for the 2013-14 campaign with the addition of Yu Liu out of China, Esther Lee from Los Alamitos, Calif., and San Diego, Calif., native Sandy Cho.  All three are expected to come in and challenge for a starting position with the Blue Devils.

Duke will have to replace one of the all-time greatest golfers in Blue Devil history with the graduation of Lindy Duncan.  Duncan was a four-time All-ACC and All-America selection, three-time ACC Player of the Year, two-time ACC Scholar-Athlete of the Year and 2012 National Player of the Year.

The Blue Devils will open the 2013-14 campaign Sept. 9-11 at the Dale McNamara Fall Preview in Tulsa, Okla.
