DURHAM, N.C.—With Major League Soccer playoffs looming and the European soccer seasons in full stride a host of former Blue Devils are playing active roles on their squads’ success this season. Jason Kreis headlines the list of former Duke players with success in MLS, guiding Real Salt Lake to the top of the standings.

Darrius Barnes
New England Revolution
- Has played in five games with four starts for New England
- Owns an assist
- New England currently sits in the fifth and final playoff spot with 37 points from a 10-10-7 record

James Belshaw
Nuneaton Town FC
- Has made four appearances in goal for Nuneaton Town FC in the Conference National in England
- Owns a 3-0-1 record in his four appearances
- Nuneaton currently sits second in the standings with 5-0-2 record

Cole Grossman
Real Salt Lake
- Scored a goal in stoppage time to lift RSL to a 3-3 tie at Portland Timbers
- Has played in three games with one start for the first-place team
- Been a member of the travel squad in the past month

Jay Heaps
New England Revolution Head Coach
- Has guided the Revs to fifth place in the Eastern Conference Standings with a 10-10-7 record
- The 10 wins are one more than New England had all of 2012
- Team currently holds the fifth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference
- Revolution has allowed the second fewest goals in MLS

Jason Kreis
Real Salt Lake Head Coach
¬ Team currently sits atop Western Conference with 48 points from 14-8-6 record
- 52 goals scored are the most in Major League Soccer

Michael Videira
Chicago Fire
- Has played in two games with one start
- The Fire are in seventh place and just two points out of a playoff spot

Andrew Wenger
Montreal Impact
- Has played in 17 games with five starts
- Has a goal and three assists his 17 outings
 - Impact currently sits atop the Eastern Conference standings with a 13-7-6 record
- Team ranks second in MLS in goals scored with 45
