DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke rowing team will send three boats to the Princeton Chase on Carnegie Lake in Princeton, N.J., this Sunday, Oct. 27. Duke’s three entries will compete in the varsity eight, which features 19 schools and 52 total boats on the three-mile course.
The women’s varsity eight begins at 11 a.m. Sunday in a staggered start. Duke’s A, B, and C boats will all push off between their counterparts from Cornell and Penn. Updated results from the Princeton Chase are available at https://www.regattacentral.com/regatta/results.jsp?job_id=3164&org_id=0. A post-race recap will follow on GoDuke.com.
The Princeton Chase marks the lone regatta for the Blue Devils this fall. Duke hosted Tennessee in a small boat scrimmage on Lake Michie last Sunday and won four of five races against the Volunteers. Duke will open the spring season on March 9 in a rematch against Tennessee on Melton Lake in Oak Ridge, Tenn.
