DURHAM -- As Duke prepares for the Chick-Fil-A Bowl on New Year's Eve against Johnny Manziel and the Texas A&M Aggies, the Blue Devil Network is taking a look back at the best plays from Duke's historic 2013 football season.
Each day leading up to the game, check back with GoDuke.com for another one of the moments that helped Duke to the first 10-win season in program history, and the school's first ACC Coastal Division championship.
Play number nine features one of the best defensive backs in Duke history - Ross Cockrell. The senior cornerback recorded a remarkable interception against Georgia Tech on his way to setting the school record for pass breakups and total passes defended in a career.
Named to the All-ACC First Team for the second straight season, Cockrell, a team captain, led the conference in pass breakups in 2013 and helped tutor a young Duke secondary that exceeded expectations despite a number of underclassmen seeing a majority of the snaps.
