DURHAM, N.C. -- Recently, GoDuke.com sat down with senior Marianne Jodoin to learn more about the Varennes,Quebec native.

GoDuke.com: Name your three favorite things about being a student-athlete at Duke:
Marianne Jodoin: Number one is being on the team, just the environment. Number two is competing and being able to play against the best teams in the nation. Three is just the overall combination between the school, the academic excellence and the sports team successfulness.

GoDuke.com: What is your favorite ‘on court’ memory?
MJ: This year, we were indoors and I thought we had a great tournament. It’s going to be my best memory for a little while.

GoDuke.com: What is your favorite ‘off the court’ memory?
MJ: The second that Jamie told me I was part of the team was my best moment for sure.

GoDuke.com: Name your three favorite restaurants in the Durham area:
MJ: Nanas, Nanas Tacos and Vin Rouge.

GoDuke.com: Name your three favorite foods:
MJ: When I go home and my mom wants to make me something special she will make Duck. I really enjoy lasagna even though I don’t eat it that often. The third one would be fish tacos.

GoDuke.com: If you could have dinner with any three people who would they be?
MJ: Federer, just because I have so many questions to ask him. My parents because I don’t get to see them that often. And my team because we have so much to talk about.

GoDuke.com: If you could travel to any three places, where would those places be?
MJ: Australia, Spain, and New Zealand
