DURHAM, N.C.— Duke senior Tricia Liston competed in the 2014 State Farm College Three-Point Championship last night at the Moody Coliseum on the campus of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.  Liston advanced to the finals before placing second overall in the competition.

Liston, who is a native of River Forest, Ill., drained 19 points in the preliminary round on her way to advancing to the semifinals where she accumulated a competition-best 24 points to move on to the finals.  The 6-1 guard went up against Louisville’s Shoni Schimmel in the finals and fell, 22-16.  

A 2014 Associated Press All-America, Liston averaged 17.2 points per game and shot 48.1 percent (87-for-181) from beyond the arc while setting a Duke single-season record for three-pointers made. Liston wrapped up her career ranking first in school history and seventh in ACC annals with 252 treys and shot 45.9 percent (252-for-549) from long distance.
