DURHAM, N.C.— Coming off spending time with the Canadian National Team and Canada’s U-20 National Team recently, Duke University freshman women’s soccer midfielder Rebecca Quinn took time away to talk with Blue Devil Network about her first experience with the national team.

Quinn, who is out of Toronta, Canada, made three appearances with Canada’s National Team at the Cyprus Cup in Europe last month.  She recently got back from Portland, Ore., as well training with the U-20 team as the squad prepares for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in August.

At Duke, Quinn started the first four matches of her collegiate career before being saddled with injuries. After being injured against New Mexico on Sept. 1, Quinn only played in three other matches the rest of the season.  The midfielder collected one assist against Boston College.
