DURHAM, N.C.—For the fourth time this season Duke senior attackman Jordan Wolf was named the ACC Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon. Wolf leads the ACC in both goals and points this season.
Wolf matched a career high with six goals and eight points overall to lead Duke to a 17-8 win over Rutgers. Wolf extended his point streak to 55 games and his goal scoring streak to 16 as Duke finished the regular season with a perfect 9-0 record at home. The Wynnewood, ,Pa., native leads the ACC in goals (46) and points (67).
Wolf has nine hat tricks this season and 29 in his career, while his six goals moved him to fifth on the ACC career goals chart with 166. This is Wolf’s fourth Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season.
The Blue Devils are 12-2 overall and riding an eight-game win streak. Seeded second in the upcoming ACC Tournament, Duke will take on No. 3 seed Syracuse in the semifinals April 25 at PPL Park in Chester, Pa. Faceoff is set for 5 p.m.
