DURHAM, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference has announced pairings and game times for the 2014 ACC Baseball Championship, which gets underway Tuesday, May 20 at NewBridge Bank Park in Greensboro, N.C.

In Pool A, fourth-seeded Duke (32-23, 16-14) is set to face fifth-seeded Clemson (34-22, 14-16) Wednesday at 11 a.m., before taking on the winner of the play-in game between No. 8 seed Wake Forest (30-25, 15-15) and No. 9 seed Georgia Tech (32-24, 14-16) Thursday at 3 p.m., and finishing the four-day round-robin play with No. 1 Miami (40-15, 24-6) Saturday at 11 a.m.

After matching the program record with 16 ACC wins, the Blue Devils are making their first ACC Tournament appearance since 2009. Duke’s No. 4 seed is also the program’s highest since the Blue Devils finished second in the league in 1994.

Atlantic Division champion Florida State (41-14, 21-9) sits atop Pool B, which also includes third-seeded Virginia (43-11, 22-8) and sixth-seeded Maryland (34-19, 15-14). The fourth spot in Pool B goes to the winner of Tuesday’s game between seventh-seeded North Carolina (32-23, 15-15) and 10th-seeded NC State (32-22, 13-17).

Under the pool-play format, each team plays one game against each of the other three opponents in its pool Wednesday through Saturday. The two teams with the best records within their respective pools advance to the title game Sunday, with the winner earning the ACC’s automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.

All 15 ACC Tournament games are televised for the eighth straight year. Regional Sports Networks from across the conference footprint and the nation are set to carry all 14 games Tuesday through Saturday. Sunday’s championship game will be televised nationally on ESPN2. All games are also available on ESPN3.

In addition, all 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. games will be broadcast via satellite radio on Sirius 220/XM 190. The night games and Sunday’s championship game will be available on SiriusXM 91.
