NEW YORK CITY – One of the best parts of bowl week is reaching out to the local community and interacting with the youth of the area.

On Wednesday, members of the Duke football team took a trip to the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, the world’s oldest and largest private cancer center. The center has devoted more than 130 years to exceptional patient care, innovative research and outstanding educational programs.

The Blue Devils split into several groups to visit patients. Duke’s players spent time talking with patients as well as signing autographs and Duke’s 2015 New Era Pinstripe Bowl poster and taking pictures while spreading some holiday cheer.

The Blue Devil Network caught up with redshirt senior linebacker Kelby Brown and redshirt senior offensive lineman Cody Robinson to talk about what the visit to the hospital meant to them, as well as a little bit about their fourth bowl trip.

Check back with GoDuke.com throughout the week for exclusive coverage of Duke’s New Era Pinstripe Bowl experience, and be sure to check out Duke Football, Duke Athletics and Blue Devil Network on Facebook and Twitter for real-time updates from the Big Apple.
