DURHAM, N.C. – Guests traveling to Duke University West Campus on Saturday, February 20th and Sunday, February 21st should be aware of construction work that will result in the closure of Science Drive near the Science Drive Visitors’ Lot to all thru traffic.  This closure will impact traffic flow around campus for multiple varsity home athletic events this weekend.  On Saturday, Duke Athletics will host a Men’s Tennis doubleheader in Ambler Tennis Stadium featuring Duke vs. North Carolina A&T at 10:00 AM and Duke vs. UNC-Charlotte at 3:00 PM.  On Sunday, Duke Athletics will host Duke Women’s Tennis vs. Texas at 12:00 PM in Sheffield Indoor Tennis Center and Duke Women’s Basketball vs. Georgia Tech at 2:00 PM in Cameron Indoor Stadium.

DUKE MEN’S TENNIS TRAFFIC INFORMATION
Blue Zone Access Route for General Public Parking – Guests must access general public parking in the Blue Zone Lots on Wannamaker Drive off of Duke University Road from either NC 751/Cameron Blvd. or from NC 147 Exit 13 Chapel Hill Street.

Card Lot Access Route for General Public Parking for Guests with Disabilities – Guests who require accessible parking in the Card Lot must access campus via Towerview Road from either Erwin Road or Duke University Road.    

DUKE WOMEN’S TENNIS TRAFFIC INFORMATION
Blue Zone Access for General Public Parking and Parking for Guests with Disabilities – Guests must access general public parking in the Blue Zone Lots on Wannamaker Drive off of Duke University Road from either NC 751/Cameron Blvd. or from NC 147 Exit 13 Chapel Hill Street.

DUKE WOMEN’S BASKETBALL PREGAME TRAFFIC INFORMATION
Women’s Basketball Traffic Checkpoint at Intersection of NC 751/Cameron Blvd. and Science Drive – Traffic staffing will be in place to limit access to Science Drive to local traffic only.  All Iron Duke parking permit holders for the Whitford Lot, Public Policy Lot, and Card Lot will be redirected to access campus via Towerview Road from either Erwin Road or Duke University Road.  Please follow the direction of traffic staff as they direct game day guests around the closure.

Iron Duke Access to Whitford Lot and Public Policy Lot – All Iron Duke parking permit holders for the Whitford Lot and Public Policy Lot must access campus via Towerview Road from either Erwin Road or Duke University Road.  Local access to these parking lots via Science Drive will be available at the intersection of Towerview Road and Science Drive.

Iron Duke Access to Card Lot – All Iron Duke parking permit holders for the Card Lot must access campus at the intersection of Erwin Road and Towerview Road or Duke University Road and Towerview Road.

General Public Parking for Guests with Disabilities – Accessible parking will be available for general public guests with disabilities in the Whitford Lot with overflow parking available in the Science Drive Visitors Lot. Guests accessing the Whitford Lot must access campus via Towerview Road from either Erwin Road or Duke University Road.  Guests accessing the Science Drive Visitors’ Lot must access campus at the intersection of NC 751/Cameron Blvd. and Science Drive. Please speak to traffic staffing at this intersection for local access. Golf cart shuttles and ADA lift-equipped van service will still available from the Science Drive Visitors’ Lot but transit time to/from the stadium will be much longer due to the construction detour.  

DUKE WOMEN’S BASKETBALL POSTGAME TRAFFIC INFORMATION
Egress from Whitford Lot and Public Policy Lot – All guests parked in the Whitford Lot and Public Policy Lot must turn right onto Science Drive when exiting the parking area post-game. Guests will exit campus via Towerview Road to either Erwin Road or Duke University Road.

Egress from Card Lot – All guests in the Card Lot must exit campus via Towerview Road to either Erwin Road or Duke University Road.  NC 751/Cameron Blvd. can be accessed on the exterior of campus via either route.

Egress from Science Drive Visitors’ Lot – All guests parked in the Science Drive Visitors’ Lot must turn left on Science Drive when exiting the parking area post-game.  Guests will exit campus via Science Drive to NC 751/Cameron Blvd.
