DURHAM, N.C. - With Duke football’s fall camp beginning this week, Blue Devil Network is rolling out its first of a two-part series covering the preseason called “YOHtel Duke.”
In part one, Dave Harding talks with offensive lineman Reno Rosene and Blue Devil defensive linemen Marquies Price, Edgar Cerenord and Mike Ramsay about sleeping in the Yoh Center locker room, what the building is like during fall camp and how the student-athletes spend the time away from practice and meetings.
Rosene is charted as the second string right offensive tackle behind returning starter Casey Blaser. Rosene enrolled at Duke in January, 2015 after earning four varsity letters at Oaks Christian High School. Price is scheduled to start at defensive end after a true freshman year in which he played in 10 games (3 starts) and booked 11 tackles, 3.5 tackles for lost yards and 1.5 quarterback sacks. Redshirt sophomore Cerenord enters the fall in competition for a starting slot at defensive tackle alongside Ramsay. Ramsay, a redshirt junior, has appeared in 26 career games (4 starts) and registered 34 tackles, 4.5 TFL, 1.0 quarterback sack and one quarterback pressure.
