DURHAM, N.C. – All-America and Academic All-America selection DeVon Edwards sits just one kickoff return for a touchdown shy of the NCAA and ACC career records. The Covington, Ga., native is a three-year starter and 2016 team captain.

Coach David Cutcliffe’s Duke Football Show spoke with Edwards about his potential to break the NCAA record as well as his looking up to current record holder C.J. Spiller. Cutcliffe also talked about designing blocking schemes for Edwards on kickoff runbacks. Senior cornerback Breon Borders, redshirt junior cornerback Bryon Fields and sophomore linebacker Ben Humphreys discussed the spark Edwards provides for the entire team.

Duke (1-1, 0-1 ACC) will play its first road game of the season Saturday at Northwestern (0-2, 0-0 Big Ten). Kickoff is slated for 8 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.
