Accessibility Information
Please find below a list of disability services that will be provided at Cameron Indoor Stadium for this championship.  Prior to the championship, please feel free to reach out to our disabilities coordinators at 919-668-6213 to help make arrangements for your visit or if you have any special needs, questions, or concerns regarding our accessibility and accommodations. 

Accessible Parking for Guests with Disabilities
• General Public Parking for guests with disabilities will be available in the Whitford Drive Lot (115 Whitford Drive, Durham, NC) throughout the championship.  Please speak to the parking lot attendant for access. There is no charge to park. Please use the following link for a championship parking map. 

Accessible Drop-off and Pick-Up Point for Guests with Disabilities
An accessible drop-off and pick-up point will be available on Whitford Drive (115 Whitford Drive, Durham, NC) throughout the championship. Please speak to the parking lot attendant for access. Please use the following link for a championship parking map.

• Entry for Persons with Disabilities – General Public Entry on court level at Rubenstein Pavilion and on the upper level at the South Hall of Honor doors is accessible for guests with disabilities.

• Stadium Elevator – is available in the Rubenstein Pavilion Lobby on court level to/from the upper concourse behind Section 2. 

• Accessible Seating Areas – accessible seating is available on court level for guest with disabilities and mobility concerns on stairs. Please speak to Event Staff at the court entrances for assistance. 

• Accessible Restrooms for Persons with Disabilities – All stadium men’s and women’s restrooms are accessible for guests with disabilities. Men’s Restrooms are located behind Section 1 and 9 on the upper concourse and in the North Lobby (behind Strip #8) on court level. Women’s Restrooms are located behind Sections 4, 6 and 12 on the upper concourse and in the South Lobby (behind Strip #1) on court level.  For a gender-neural accessible family restroom, please see an Event Staff member and ask them to contact Duke Game Operations for assistance. 

Assistive Listening Devices – Assistive listening devices are available for those in need. Guests needing an assistive listening device should ask an Event Staff member for assistance and ask them to contact Duke Game Operations. Once the request is received, Duke Game Operations will deliver the device to the guest.

Accessible Concessions Window – All concessions and merchandise sales are located on the upper concourse behind Sections 5 and 6. Guests are encouraged to ask an Event Staff member and ask them to contact Duke Game Operations to assist as needed. Accommodations will be available for guests in accessible seating areas to bring food and beverages onto the competition floor.

Wheelchairs and Assistive Devices – Accessible seating is available on court level for guests with disabilities or mobility concerns on stairs.  Assistive devices (including walkers) may be stored on the upper level concourse outside the section vomitories.  These devices may not impede aisles, walkways, or section entrances.  Please see Event Staff for assistance. 

Admission
The ACC Fencing Championships is free to all guests – no tickets are required. 

Alcohol
It is strictly prohibited to bring alcohol into Cameron Indoor Stadium. Individuals violating this policy are subject to ejection from the building.

ATM Machines
There is no ATM located inside Cameron Indoor Stadium. A BB&T-ATM is located outside the Rubenstein Pavilion entrance to Cameron Indoor Stadium at the Scott Family Athletics Performance Center next to the Ticket Office windows. The BB&T ATM only dispenses cash ($20 increments) and does not take deposits.

Banners and Signs
Banners and Signs are permitted inside Cameron Indoor Stadium; however, the Atlantic Coast Conference and Duke Athletics reserve the right to prohibit or require the cessation of any display of a banner or sign that obstructs the view of other fans, obscures stadium signage, can be considered an advertisement, or is determined to be obscene, vulgar, indecent, inappropriate, or derogatory.  

Camera Policy
Hand-held still cameras are permitted for personal use only. No cameras are permitted into the building with a lens longer than four (4) inches.  Video cameras are strictly prohibited from filming competition.

Concessions
A concessions stand operated by Blue Devil Concessions will be available behind Section 6. The concessions stand will open 30 minutes prior to the start of competition each day. The concessions stand accepts cash and debit/credit cards.

 

Conduct
Duke Athletics expects all fans to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner at all times before, during, and after the competition. We expect all fans to treat other fans, players, coaches and officials with courtesy. Please join us in creating a fun, safe, family atmosphere at Cameron Indoor Stadium by not:

• Interfering with other guests’ ability to enjoy the competition;
• Using/displaying foul or abusive language or gestures;
• Appearing to be intoxicated or in a diminished capacity;
• Entering the competition or restricted access areas;
• Smoking except in designated areas;
• Throwing objects onto the competition area or within the venue; or
• Otherwise being disorderly.

Violators are subject to ejection and possible arrest. Fans should contact Event Staff of Duke Game Operations if they feel someone is not acting appropriately.

Competition Floor Access
Access to the competition floor is strictly limited to competing student-athletes, coaches, officials, and essential championship personnel only.  Accessible seating accommodations will be available for guests with disabilities and their companions. There is no other general public access to the competition floor at any time.  

Elevator
A stadium elevator is available in the Rubenstein Pavilion Lobby on court level to/from the upper concourse behind Section 2. 

Entrances
General Public Entrances for this championship are located on the south side of Cameron Indoor Stadium at the Rubenstein Pavilion entrances (court level) and South Hall of Honor entrances (upper concourse). Both entrances are accessible for guests with disabilities. An elevator is available behind Section 2 for access to court level areas.

All doors to Cameron Indoor Stadium will open 90 minutes prior to the start of the competition each day. Patrons with purses, bags, and strollers are subject to search. 

Emergency Preparedness
• During any emergency inside Cameron Indoor Stadium, follow the directions of the PA announcer, Event Staff and emergency responders.
• Always designate a pre-determined location both inside and outside the gym to meet friends and family in case you are separated or in the event of an emergency.
• Upon arriving at your seat location, first find the nearest exit and then locate an alternate exit in case of emergency.
• See Something, Say Something – If you see or become aware of any activity that is unusual, suspicious, or causes you concern, report the activity to the nearest police officer or Event Staff.
• Emergency vehicles may be present in and around Cameron Indoor Stadium. Please do not obstruct the path of travel of a fire truck or emergency vehicle or interfere with any of their operations. Vehicles blocking emergency vehicles, exits, or traffic in general are subject to being towed at the owner's expense. Please do not obstruct any exits or exit pathways.
• Monitor the weather prior to the game. Take the necessary precautions to protect your family and friends should severe weather be encountered before, during, or after the game. In the event of inclement weather during the game, please be prepared to evacuate the gym and return to your car.

Emergency Medical Assistance
For first aid or emergency medical assistance, please visit the first aid station located on court level near Strip #1.  In case of emergency, contact the nearest Event Staff member, call Duke Police at (919) 684-2444, Durham Police at 9-1-1, or contact any staff member on site.

Lost and Found
All lost and found items will be turned into Duke Game Operations.  Guests trying to locate an item during the championship should contact the nearest Event Staff member for assistance.  All lost and found items not picked up prior to the end of the championship will be available for pick-up the following business day by calling 919-668-5658 or email at duaa-gameops@duke.edu.

 

Merchandise
Official ACC Championship merchandise can be purchased at the merchandise stand located on the upper concourse behind Section 5. Merchandise stand will open 30 minutes prior to the start of competition each day. The merchandise stand accepts cash and debit/credit cards.

• Parking Disclaimer
Duke University assumes no responsibility for loss through fire, theft, collision, or otherwise to the car or contents. Vehicles are parked at Owner's Risk. Please lock your vehicle.

• Parking Emergency Information
In case of emergency please 919-684-2444 for Duke Police Emergency Dispatch or dial 9-1-1 for Durham County. Duke Police will be the primary responder on-campus for emergency calls. Durham Police will be the primary responder off-campus for emergency calls. If an emergency occurs and authorities are contacted, please designate someone in your party to help direct emergency personnel to the emergency location.

• General Public Parking Information – General Public Parking will be available in Science Drive Garage (302 Science Drive, Durham, NC) located off NC 751/Cameron Blvd. All guests should use the garage main entrance off of NC 751 between Erwin Road and Science Drive for entry. Look for the general public parking signs marking the entrance. There is no charge to park. Science Drive Garage will open 2 hours prior to the start of competition each day.

• Accessible Parking for Guests with Disabilities – General Public Parking for guests with disabilities will be available in the Whitford Drive Lot (115 Whitford Drive, Durham, NC) throughout the championship. Please speak to the parking lot attendant for access. There is no charge to park. The lot opens 2 hours prior to the start of competition each day.

• Accessible Drop – off and Pick-Up Point for Guests with Disabilities – An accessible drop-off and pick-up point will be available on Whitford Drive (115 Whitford Drive, Durham, NC) throughout the championship. Please speak to the parking lot attendant for access.

Pets
All pets (including dogs) are prohibited inside Cameron Indoor Stadium. (Exception: Service animals will be permitted to assist those with disabilities).

 

Press and Media Access
Only approved personnel, media and photographers will be allowed into the press areas and onto the competition floor. All media and photographers should contact the Atlantic Coast Conference office prior to the championship for credentials.  

Prohibited Items

For the safety and experience of all guests, the following items are prohibited from entering the venue:
• Alcoholic beverages
• Artificial noisemakers
• Balloons, Balls, and Frisbees
• Cameras w/lens over 4 inches
• Coolers and Containers (ice chests or other like containers)
• All Drones and Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) – https://drones.duke.edu/policies
• Hazardous Materials
• Items obstructing sightlines of other fans
• Laser Pointers
• Outside chairs (lounge chairs, folding chairs, etc.)
• Outside food & beverages
• Pets (Exception: service animals)
• Selfie Sticks
• Shoes with wheels (wheelies)
• Weapons of any kind

Duke University reserves the right to deny anyone or anything from entering the gym. Any such items should be returned to your vehicle and/or discarded. All fans are subject to search before entering the gym.

For the safety of all in attendance, bags/items are not permitted to be left unattended outside of Cameron Indoor Stadium. Unattended bags/items found outside the stadium will be dealt with in in a manner deemed appropriate by stadium officials, including but not limited to disposal. Duke University and Duke Athletics are not responsible for loss of any unattended items.

Re-Entry
Re-entry is permitted for this championship. 

Restrooms
All stadium men’s and women’s restrooms are accessible for guests with disabilities. Men’s Restrooms are located behind Section 1 and 9 on the upper concourse and in the North Lobby (behind Strip #8) on court level. Women’s Restrooms are located behind Sections 4, 6 and 12 on the upper concourse and in the South Lobby (behind Strip #1) on court level.  For a gender-neural accessible family restroom, please see an Event Staff member and ask them to contact Duke Game Operations for assistance.


Seating
Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis in Sections 1 – 16 in the upper seating bowl of Cameron Indoor Stadium.  Guests are asked not to sit in the areas roped off for broadcast cameras. Accessible seating for guests with disabilities is available on court level. Please speak to Event Staff at the court entrances for assistance.

Smoking
Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is not allowed in Cameron Indoor Stadium.  Smoking is permitted in the designated smoking area on McClendon Plaza located behind Section 13.

Stadium Map

Umbrellas
Umbrellas are permitted inside Cameron Indoor Stadium. For the courtesy and safety of all guests, we ask that umbrellas are not opened inside Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Video Camera Policy
Video cameras are not permitted inside Cameron Indoor Stadium.  All championship video footage rights are the property of the Atlantic Coast Conference and its television partners.   

Wheelchairs and Assistive Devices
