DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke women’s soccer team will kick off its spring action this weekend as part of a five-match slate that will go through early April. The Blue Devils are coming off a season where they advanced to the NCAA quarterfinals under the direction of head coach Robbie Church.
Duke opens play Sunday, Feb. 26 by hosting Florida at 11 a.m., on the Highway 751 field on the Blue Devil campus.
Other dates include Sunday, March 5 at home versus Elon, Saturday, March 25 in the Jefferson Cup Tournament against Virginia, Saturday April 1 at the Washington Spirit and Wednesday, April 5 at the North Carolina Courage at 6 pm.
The match at the Washington Spirit will open at 2 p.m., and played at the Maureen Hendricks Field at the Maryland Soccerplex in Boyds, Md. Tickets are currently on sale at www.washingtonspirit.com.
Duke and North Carolina Courage will face off at Wake Med Soccer Park in Cary, N.C. A start time has not been set yet.
