Summer of 2018:
Traveled to France to compete in the Arnold Palmer Cup with the International squad … went 0-2-1 over the three days and the International team fell, 38.5-21.5 to the United States … carded rounds of 74, 71 and 73 at the LPGA Thailand event in August, which placed tied 14th overall and was the third-best amateur.
Golfweek Third Team All-America ... WGCA All-America Honorable Mention ... All-ACC selection ... one of the top freshmen in the nation ... finished the season ranked 25th in the Golfweek Individual rankings ... collected a 71.62 stroke average, which is the second-lowest for a Duke rookie in school history ... finished the 54-hole ACC Championship in a tie for first with rounds of 71, 67 and 72, which was six-under, 210 ... lost in a playoff to teammate Leona Maguire on the third playoff hole ... notched two top five, six top 10 and eight top 20 finishes ... tied a school record with five eagles in a season ... her 23 rounds of even or under par was one shy of matching the Duke freshman record ... posted six rounds in the 60s ... had a stretch where was placed in the top seven in four straight tournaments in the spring ... finished under par in five of her 12 tournaments she competed in ... fired a five-under, 66, in her first collegiate round, which matched the Duke record for lowest 18-hole ledger by a Duke freshman in their first collegiate outing ... helped lead Duke to five victories on the season, including the Jim West Challenge, Tar Heel Invitational, Landfall Tradition, ACC Championship and NCAA Madison Regional ... a preseason Golfweek Top Freshman to watch (No. 10).
Summer of 2017:
Turned in rounds of 70, 69, 70 and 77 for a 286 to finish tied 10th at the Canadian Women’s Amateur Championship … advanced to the round of 32 of match play at the U.S. Women’s Amateur, after carding rounds of 75, 71 in qualifying.
Attended IMG Academy in Florida where she excelled on the course and in the classroom ... won the 2016 ANNIKA Invitational with rounds of 75, 70 and 65 for a three-day ledger of 210 ... finished in the top 20 of the TaylorMade-adidas Golf Junior (T3), Rolex Girls Junior Championship (4), Thunderbird International Junior (16) and The PING Invitational (19) on the AJGA ... a 2016 First Team Rolex Junior All-America and 2015 honorable mention selection, Boonchant was a 2013 and 2015 IMG Academy Player of the Year ... tallied six top-10 finishes in 2015 on the AJGA, including three fourth place tallies – Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy Junior, IMG Academy Junior World Championship and The PING Invitational. Over the last three years, Boonchant has registered seven rounds in the 60s.
