Playing together for the first time, sophomore Meible Chi and freshman Ema Lazic were seeded ninth in the main draw and were awarded a bye to the round of 32. There the Duke duo bested South Carolina’s pairing of Nikolina Jovic and Ingrid Martins 8-2 to advance to the Round of 16. On the singles side, senior Rebecca Smaller played in the second round of qualifying. She fell to Elon’s Montana Moore 6-0, 0-6, 7-5.
