DURHAM, N.C. - Duke Athletics currently ranks seventh in the latest Learfield Directors' Cup Standings, released Thursday by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics.
Duke has secured 217.00 total points and is among seven ACC schools ranked in the top 20, joining North Carolina (5th), Virginia (6th), N.C. State (11th), Wake Forest (13th), Syracuse (14th) and Louisville (17th). Stanford leads the overall rankings with 385.00 points.
In the fall session, Duke has earned points in men’s soccer (64), field hockey (70) and women’s soccer (83).
The Learfield Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships.
