Blue Devils Welcome Virginia for Scrimmage

DURHAM, N.C. – Following a successful showing at the Carolina Cup, the Duke women’s rowing team will return to its home water Saturday, welcoming ACC foe Virginia for a head-to-head competition. The event will kick off at 3:30 p.m., on Lake Michie in Bahama, N.C.

The Blue Devils will feature five boats in the V8, 2V8, V4, 2V4 and 3V8.

Most recently, Duke claimed its second-consecutive Carolina Cup title in Clemson, S.C. The Blue Devils totaled 99 points to best North Carolina (81) and Clemson (77).

Following action this weekend, the Blue Devils will make the second of three trips to South Carolina for the Clemson Invite Saturday, April 14-15.
