DURHAM, N.C. – Throughout her four years at Duke, Samantha Harris has been one of the top players in the ACC. The Melbourne, Australia product has 36 career ACC singles victories, putting her in a tie for second all-time at Duke and is a three-time All-ACC honoree.
Blue Devil Network sat down with Harris and her head coach Jamie Ashworth to learn more about Harris’ journey to Duke and her experiences in Durham as she wraps up her stellar college career.
Harris holds a 25-8 record this season and is 7-1 in the ACC, as well as ranking seventh in the ITA singles poll. She has played all of her dual matches on court one and is 10-2 there. Harris and teammate Kelly Chen have combined to go 19-5 in doubles matches this season, including 7-2 against nationally ranked opponents.
Harris and her Blue Devil teammates are back in action this weekend. Duke travels to Georgia Tech on Friday for a 3:00 p.m., match before hosting Clemson in a 2:00 p.m., match on Sunday.
