DURHAM, N.C. – All facets of the Duke Football program are involved when the Blue Devils host a game. From team members to coaches to equipment staffers to landscapers and more, a football game is a full undertaking for everybody involved with the Blue Devils.
David Cutcliffe’s Duke Football TV Show caught up Director of Equipment Operations Wes Pickell and Superintendent of Grounds at Duke University Scott Thompson to talk about their roles in getting ready for a home football game. Redshirt junior linebacker Joe Giles-Harris and redshirt senior wide receiver Chris Taylor also talked about the planning of practices that goes into game one while Dave Harding covered the importance of a Tuesday practice. Cutcliffe also offered his thoughts on transitioning from fall camp to game one.
