Duke plays its first road tilt of the season by travelling to Evanston, Ill., to meet the Wildcats of Northwestern ... Kickoff is set for 12 noon ET with television coverage from ESPNU
• Last week, Duke opened the campaign with a 34-14 victory over Army West Point for its seventh consecutive season-opening triumph ... Northwestern earned a 31-27 win on the road over Purdue
• Duke joins Connecticut and Stanford as the only teams nationally to open the 2018 campaign with two games versus 10-win squads from a season ago
• Saturday’s game will mark the 20th on the gridiron between Duke and Northwestern, with the Wildcats leading the series, 10-9 ... A season ago in Durham, Duke snapped a three-game losing streak in the series with a 41-17 triumph as QB Daniel Jones posted the second 300-passing & 100-rushing yard performance in school history ... The series dates back to 1985 when Duke earned a 40-17 win in Durham
• Dating back to the 2013 season, the Blue Devils are 35-22 (.614) in their last 57 regular season games
• Duke is 20-3 (.870) in its last 23 contests against non-ACC opponents
• With last week’s 34-14 victory over Army West Point, David Cutcliffe earned the 60th win of his Duke head coaching tenure ... The only Blue Devil coaches to win more games are Wallace Wade (110) and Bill Murray (93), both members of the College Football Hall of Fame
• Last week versus Army West Point, the Blue Devil defense pushed its streak of consecutive fourth quarters without a point allowed to six dating back to last season ... • Duke LBs Joe Giles-Harris and Ben Humphreys have 239 and 213 career tackles, respectively, to form the only active duo in the ACC with 200+ total stops each
