DURHAM, N.C. – With his team having reported last week, head coach Ramsey Smith announced the fall schedule for his 2018 men’s tennis squad. The slate includes six weekends, beginning September 14-16.

The Blue Devils open their fall season by hosting the Duke Bonk Invitational, named after Dr. James Bonk, a former Duke chemistry professor and assistant tennis coach. The event will be at the Cary Tennis Park in Cary, N.C., September 14-16.

Duke will play the following weekend at the Gamecock Fall Invite in Columbia, S.C., September 21-23.

The main event of the fall will take place in Tulsa, Okla., for the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-American. The qualifying rounds will be October 1-2, followed by the ITA All-American Main Draw October 4-7.

The Blue Devils then return to North Carolina, playing in the ITA Regional Qualifier in Cary October 12-16.

The team will be off until wrapping up the fall slate in Winston-Salem, N.C., for the Wake Forest Fall Invitational November 9-11.

Should a Blue Devil qualify, this year’s ITA National Fall Championship will be held in Surprise, Ariz., November 7-11.
