TULSA, Okla. – Junior Nick Stachowiak turned in another win Tuesday in the Saint Francis ITA Men’s All-American Championships to power into the qualifying Round of 16, but then saw his run come to an end.
No. 87 Stachowiak defeated Tulsa's Daniel Siddall 6-2, 6-0 to reach the qualifying Round of 16 before falling to Texas' No. 54 Christian Sigsgaard, 6-1, 6-1.
Junior Spencer Furman had his All-American winning streak end at four matches with a straight-set loss to N.C. State's Igor Saveljic in the Round of 32.
The Blue Devils have completed competition at the ITA All-American and return to action Friday, October 12, at the ITA Carolina Regional in Cary, N.C.
