DURHAM, N.C. - Duke Athletics currently ranks seventh in the latest Learfield Directors' Cup Standings, released Thursday by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics.
Duke has secured 226.00 total points and headlines a total of seven ACC schools ranked among the top 15 nationally, joined by Wake Forest (2nd), N.C. State (5th), North Carolina (6th), Virginia (8th), Notre Dame (10th) and Florida State (14th). Stanford leads the overall rankings with 396.00 points.
To date, Duke has earned points in women’s cross country (28), field hockey (70), women’s soccer (64) and men’s soccer 64).
The Learfield Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships.
