DURHAM, N.C.— Recent Duke University graduate Rebecca Greenwell has moved from the court to a much different role with the women’s basketball team for the 2018-19 campaign as she continues to rehab from offseason surgery.
Greenwell, the top three-point shooter in Duke history and a three-time All-ACC selection, graduated in May of 2017 with a degree in psychology and then received a Duke Fuqua School of Business degree in 2018.
Immediately after the 2017-18 campaign ended, Greenwell had surgery on her knee and has remained around Duke to rehab and gain a different experience.
She has helped the women’s basketball office run the 2018 True Blue Golf Classic, helped in the Legacy Fund for men’s basketball and has also become the color analyst on the Blue Devil Sports Network for Duke games.
Greenwell was selected by the Washington Mystics in the 2018 WNBA draft and will look to try to make the team this spring when teams report for training camp.
Until then, listen for Greenwell on the radio for the remainder of the 2018-19 campaign.
