DURHAM, N.C. - Sporting News released its 2009-10 All-America teams on Tuesday with Jon Scheyer earning second team honors and Kyle Singler being named to the fifth team.

The All-America honor is the first for Scheyer in his four-year career. The senior captain leads the Blue Devils in scoring (18.9 ppg.), three-point field goals made/attempted (89-of-223), free throw percentage (.889), free throws made/attempted (152-of-171), assists (162), steals (51), assist-to-turnover ratio (3.0:1) and minutes played (1,131).

Singler is chosen to an All-America team for the second straight season after averaging 17.2 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. He leads the team in defensive rebounds (142) and blocked shots (27). During ACC play he led the conference with a .415 three-point field goal percentage while averaging 18.3 points per game.

The Blue Devils are 26-5 heading into the ACC Tournament. Duke shared the ACC regular season championship with Maryland after posting a 13-3 conference record and will be the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament.
