As a freshman in 1996, Chuasiriporn captured ACC medalist honors with a three-round total of 73-72-72=217 at the Grandover Country Club in Greensboro, N.C. She then repeated the feat a year later as a sophomore with a score of 69-74-69=212 at the Eagle’s Landing Country Club in Stockbridge, Ga., thus becoming the first player in conference history to secure multiple league individual championships. Chuasiriporn also was four-time All-ACC honoree.
Chuasiriporn helped the Blue Devils to four ACC championships as well as the 1999 NCAA title, and was honored with the 1999 Golfstat Cup after leading the nation in stroke average (72.94). The runner-up at the 1998 U.S. Women’s Open, she continues to rank among Duke’s all-time leaders in individual tournament victories (7) and top-10 finishes (27) and rounds of even par or better (42).
In NCAA Tournament action, Chuasiriporn carded three top-20 individual finishes including a career-best fifth place showing in 1998.
