DURHAM, N.C. – For those local fans looking to watch the sixth-ranked Duke women’s golf team in action, your time is here as the Blue Devils will compete in the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational Oct. 13-15 at the 6,379-yard, par 72 Finley Golf Course in Chapel Hill, N.C.

The field is outstanding this week as the top two ranked teams nationally – Arkansas and Alabama – along with six other ranked squads will be in action. Competing this weekend will be Alabama, Arkansas, Duke, Iowa, Louisville, Michigan, Michigan State, NC State, North Carolina, Ohio State, Rollins, South Carolina, Tulane, UNCW, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.

Individual talent will also be on display at Finley with 10 of the top-20 ranked golfers by Golfweek taking the course: No. 1 Maria Fassi of Arkansas, No. 2 Laura Stephenson of Alabama, No. 6 Alana Uriell of Arkansas, No. 9 Dylan Kim of Arkansas, No. 10 Kristen Gillman of Alabama, No. 12 Leona Maguire of Duke, No. 13 Sarah Burnham of Michigan State, No. 14 Jaclyn Lee of Ohio State, No. 18 Emilia Migliaccio of Wake Forest and No. 19 Jennifer Kupcho of Wake Forest.

Kupcho returns to Chapel Hill after claiming the individual title and leading her Demon Deacons to the team title in 2016.

Duke will feature the same lineup as the Blue Devils traveled to the Windy City Classic – Maguire, Virginia Elena Carta, Ana Belac, Jaravee Boonchant and Miranda Wang. The Blue Devils have competed in two tournaments winning the Jim West Challenge and finishing fifth at the Windy City Classic.
