DURHAM, N.C. – Playing for Duke isn’t just showing up every day. It’s a mindset that is captured in everything we do. It’s personified in the way we play the game. This series will show you, rather than tell you, what it means to be part of this program. At the end of each video, you should walk away with one prominent thought: That’s Duke Basketball.

Looking to sweep the North Carolina season series for just the fourth time in 36 years, senior Chris Carrawell—who was playing in his final game at Cameron—dropped 21 points en route to leading his team to a 90-76 victory on March 4, 2000.

Hoping to build momentum early, the Blue Devils were in need of a run, and were able to get just that. With a little over nine minutes left in the first half, Jason Williams scored, and followed up with another basket following a Tar Heel turnover. Seconds later, North Carolina surrendered the ball once again, handing the ball over to Carrawell who proceeded to dunk and put Duke up 22-12.
