2013-14: Competed four times during the fall, opening the season with a ninth-place showing at the adidas XC Challenge (9/20)…placed second for the Blue Devils and 25th overall at the highly competitive Notre Dame Invitational (10/4), running a 5K time of 17:39.7…saw a personal-best 6K time of 21:11 at the Wisconsin Invitational (10/19)…Indoors, qualified for the ACC Indoor Championships (2/28) in the DMR and the 800…led off the Duke DMR that won the conference title in a time of 11:15.57…also placed third overall in a converted time of 2:06.91 in the 800, earning her second All-ACC honor of the meet…ran a season-best converted 800 time of 2:06.64 in the preliminary round of the ACC Indoor Championships (2/28)…ran a personal-best mile time of 4:46.41 at the Penn State National (2/1), placing sixth overall in the process…opened the indoor season with a second-place finish in the mile at the Dick Taylor Challenge (1/24)…participated in the DMR as the 1,200 leg on five separate occasions, including a first-place finish at the Iowa State Classic (2/14) that saw the relay clock a time of 11:06.87, the third-fastest time in Duke history…also led off the DMR at the NCAA National Championships (3/14), as the relay placed 10th overall…Outdoors, qualified for the ACC Outdoor Championships (4/19), placing fifth overall in the 800...clocked a personal-best 800 time of 2:05.80 at the Georgia Tech Invitational (5/17), moving her into fourth on Duke’s all-time list…qualified for the NCAA Preliminary Round (5/29) in the 800, placing 14th overall in a time of 2:06.00…twice competed in the 1,500, placing fifth at the Georgia Tech Invitational (5/16) in a season-best time of 4:24.20 and finishing 20th at the Virginia Challenge (5/10) with a time of 4:28.54…led off the seventh-place finishing DMR at the Penn Relays (4/24), as the relay ran the fifth-fastest time in Duke history, 11:18.29.

2012-13: Competed twice during the fall, posting a time of 18:16 over 5K while running unattached at the Three Stripe Invitational...outdoors, qualified for the 2013 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the women’s 800 after finishing twelve overall with a time of 2:07.84…finished 24th on the first day of the NCAA East First Round after running a personal best time of 2:06.82…earned All-ACC honors after finishing third at the ACC Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a time of 2:07.44…Indoors, earned Second-Team All-America honors at the 2013 NCAA Indoor Championships by running the 1,500 leg of the distance medley relay that finished ninth overall…the squad broke the school record in the event by combining for a time of 11:01.50 at the Alex Wilson Invitational March 1 in South Bend, Ind…earned All-ACC honors after finishing third overall in the women’s 800 with a time of 2:07.92…earned a spot on Duke’s all-time list in the event after clocking a personal best 2:07.64 at the Armory Collegiate to finish fourth overall…ran the 1,200 leg for the distance medley relay team that finished second at the 2013 ACC Indoor Championships with a time of 11:24.61...her outdoor season was highlighted by earning a qualifying spot for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the women’s 800 by running a career-best 2:06.82 at the NCAA quarterfinals in Greensboro, N.C…earned NCAA All-America honorable mention honors by running a 2:08.30 to finish 17th in the semi-final round…earned All-ACC honors in the event with a third place finish and time of 2:07.44 at the ACC Outdoor Championships…Duke’s top performer in the women’s 1,500 with a time of 4:23.26 to finish ninth at the Raleigh Relays…member of the 4x800 relay that clocked 8:40.96 to finish eighth at the Penn Relays and rank third on Duke’s all-time list…excelled in the classroom and was named to the All-ACC Indoor and Outdoor Academic teams. 

Prior to Duke: Four-year letterwinner for Bob Morrissey at Mamaroneck...two-time indoor track state champion in the 1,000m...finished the 2012 indoor season with the second-best time in the country in the 1,000m and the third-best time nationally in the 800m...also won a state title outdoors in the 800m as a junior...anchored her squad's 4x800m relay which placed third in the state during her final season...garnered All-America distinction after taking third in the 800m run at the 2012 New Balance Nationals Indoor...a three-time all-state selection both indoors and outdoors...recipient of the Officials' Award from the Armory Track & Field Center...also named to the Armory All-Star team...captained her indoor and outdoor squads as a junior and senior...also lettered three years in soccer, earning all-section honors...member of the National Honor Society...garnered first honors each year.

Personal: Daughter of Jonathan and Sudeshna Banks...born March 30, 1994...has one sister, Stephanie...godfather, Mark Crow, was a member of the Duke basketball team (1974-77)...father, Jonathan (1978) and uncle, Derrick Mashone (1979) also graduated from Duke.
