2013-14: In the fall, competed in one event, the Bull City Classic, placing second overall in a 6K time of 19:15…Outdoors, participated in two competitions during the season…opened with a time of 15:23.43 for 5,000m at the VertKlasse Meeting (4/4)…concluded the season with a fourth-place finish in the 3,000 at the Joe Hilton Invitational (4/12), running a time of 8:36.26…did not compete during the 2014 indoor season.
2012-13: Made his Duke cross country debut at the season-opening Virginia Tech Alumni Invitational, where he placed 12th at 18:58.74 over 6K ... posted a top-50 finish at the Panorama Farms Invitational, clocking 26:01.3 in his first 8K race ... closed the fall with a fifth-place performance at the Three Stripe Invitational...Indoors, focused his efforts primarily on the 5,000 run where he clocked a season-best time of 14:56.98 to finish fourth at the Virginia Tech Challenge…participated in the same event at the ACC Indoor Championships where he finished 17th overall with a time of 15:07.82…Outdoors, competed three times in the 5,000, turning in his best time of 14:37.91 at the Duke Invitational.
Prior to Duke: Completed prep career at Loyola Academy in Wilmette, Ill. ... all-state selection in cross country as a senior after finishing 17th overall at the state meet ... guided Loyola to an 18th-place showing at the state championships ... took fourth overall at his sectional meet ... also helped his cross country squad earn a fourth-place finish at the 2011 Nike Cross Nationals ... graduated magna cum laude.
Personal: Son of Bill and Lisa Hague ... born Jan. 16, 1994 ... has one sister, Caroline ... third cousin, Jim Nuccio, qualified for the 1972 U.S. Olympic Team Trials in the 10,000m.
