2013-14: Indoors, saw a strong start to his college career, helping Duke’s 4x800 win the Millrose Games (2/15) in a time of 7:30.06, the fourth-fastest time in school history…saw a second-place finish in the mile at the Dick Taylor Challenge (1/24)…placed third in the mile with a time of 4:10.61 at the Virginia Tech invitational (1/17)…finished sixth in the mile at the Armory Collegiate Invitational (2/8), running a time of 4:12.72…ran the 1,200 leg of the DMR that placed fifth at the Armory Collegiate Invitational in a combined time of 9:48.52…also covered the 800 leg of the seventh-place finishing Duke DMR at the ACC Indoor Championships (2/27)…Outdoors, saw limited action, competing at two meets during the season…ran a time of 1:54.83 at the Joe Hilton Invitational (4/12) to conclude his outdoor campaign.

Prior to Duke: Four year letterwinner in track & field under Martin ‘Skip’ Springman and William ‘Bill’ Bixler at Cumberland Valley High School…earned All-State honors four times throughout his career, including twice in the 800 (2012, 2013) and twice in the 4x800 (2012, 2013)…also earned All-State honors in cross country during the 2012 season…District three champion in the 800 while setting a new event record…four-time conference champion, twice in the 800 (2012, 2013) and twice in the 4x800 (2012, 2013)…finished fourth at the Penn Relays in the 4x800 relay…member of the National Honor Society.

Personal:  Son of Linda and George Kunzweiler…born May 8, 1995…has one older sister, Lisa.  Father was a four year letterwinner as a rugby player at West Point Military Academy.
