Duke Opens NCAA Tournament Saturday
Duke earned the No. 3 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament and will host Syracuse in the first round on May 12 at 12 p.m. ... The game will be a rematch of Duke's 12-10 regular season win over the Orange in the Konica Minolta Big City Classic ... Eamon McAnaney and Paul Carcaterra will call the action for ESPN.

Duke - Syracuse Series History
Duke and Syracuse are meeting for the ninth time overall and for the fourth time in NCAA history ... The Orange leads the all-time series 6-2, but Duke captured this season's regular meeting 12-10 in the Konica Minolta Big City Classic ... Duke is 0-3 against the Orange in the NCAA Tournament with the last loss coming in 2009 as Syracuse went on to win the national title.

  • Duke is making its 16th overall appearance and sixth consecutive in the NCAA Tournament

Syracuse earned its 32nd berth in the NCAA Tournament after capturing the inaugural BIG EAST Tournament crown ... The Orange is 9-7 overall and ranked 16th in this week's polls ... Tommy Palasek paces the offense with 51 points from 23 goals and 28 assists, while Derek Maltz has a team-best 28 goals and 36 points overall ... Bobby Eilers came on strong in the BIG EAST Tournament, scoring six goals and two assists over the course of the two-day event ... Brian Megill has started to man the faceoff X for Syracuse, owning a 20-of-41 record (.488) in draws ... He also leads the team with 58 ground balls ... Wolf Cracks 100 Career Points List
With six points against No. 1 Virginia, Jordan Wolf became the 39th Blue Devil in program history to amass at least 100 career points ... In 37 career games, sophomore Jordan Wolf has amassed 108 career points from 60 goals and 48 assists ... He tallied 51 points in his rookie season and has 57 points through 17 games this season.

Wolf Career Hat Tricks & Multiple Point Games
Sophomore Jordan Wolf owns nine career hat tricks, including three this season ... He is tied for third among all Division I sophomores in career hat tricks, behind Detroit Mercy's Joel Matthews and Shayne Adams ... Overall, Wolf has scored three-plus points in 20 of his 37 career games.

Costabile Picking Up Grounders
Senior longstick midfielder CJ Costabile ranks among the nation's top ground ball guys ... Costabile faces off regularly for the Blue Devils and is a key member of the defense ... He currently ranks second among active Division I players in career ground balls with 345 ... His three GBs against Maryland in the ACC semifinal pushed him past Duke goaltender Joe Kirmser's 327 pickups, the most in  Duke lacrosse history.

CJ Nation's Top Long Pole Scorer
