DURHAM, N.C. - The Duke women's basketball team is currently looking for male practice players to workout with the Blue Devils during the upcoming 2012-13 season.

The practice team offers the Blue Devils a chance to practice against someone other than themselves, which is a valuable component of preparations for the 2012-13 season.

Players must be full-time Duke students (undergraduate/graduate) with high school varsity basketball experience, be available for weekday practices, occasional weekends and provide a physical.

This is a great opportunity to continue playing basketball and be part of one of the nation's elite programs. You will also learn from some of the best coaches in the game, including two-time ACC Coach of the Year Joanne P. McCallie. Coach P has led Duke to three straight NCAA tournament appearances, the 2010 and 2011 ACC Tournament titles and guided the Blue Devils to 141 victories over the last five years.

For more information, contact Duke director of relations Hernando Planells at hplanells@duaa.duke.edu or by calling 919-613-7587.
