In his last outing, freshman James Marvel turned in a strong performance against N.C. Central Mar. 12. The Moraga, Calif., native tossed seven complete, recording 1-2-3 innings in five of the seven frames he threw while limiting the Eagles to three hits overall. Marvel allowed three runs on the evening, striking out three while issuing two walks.
