The schedule includes matchups with 15 teams that advanced to the 2013 NCAA Tournament - Connecticut, Maryland, Notre Dame, Florida State, Purdue, Oklahoma, Central Michigan, California, Syracuse, Miami, Kansas, Vanderbilt, North Carolina, Albany and Kentucky.  Duke will take on three opponents that reached the NCAA Final Four last season – Connecticut (NCAA Champion), California and Notre Dame.  A total of seven opponents this season advanced to at least the NCAA Sweet 16 as well.

The Blue Devils will be showcased live on national and regional television a total of 12 times, but the number could rise over the next month.  Duke has nine contests on ESPN networks and three games on the Regional Sports Network (RSN).

Duke will open the season at 2013 NCAA runner-up California on Sunday, Nov. 10 at 6 p.m., on ESPNU.  The Blue Devils will be able to take senior Chelsea Gray, senior Chloe Wells, freshman Oderah Chidom and freshman Kendall McCravey-Cooper back to their home state of California.

Following the trip out west, the Blue Devils will host three straight home contests in historic Cameron Indoor Stadium – USC Upstate (Nov. 14), Alabama (Nov. 17) and Vanderbilt (Nov. 21).

Duke will then travel to Milwaukee, Wisc., Nov. 24 to face Marquette in a homecoming contest for senior Tricia Liston.  Liston’s family and friends will have a short drive from River Forest, Ill., to see the All-ACC guard compete.

Over the Thanksgiving holiday, the squad will go tropical as the Blue Devils will compete in the Paradise Jam in St. Thomas, USVI from Nov. 28-30.  The ledger will include Xavier (Nov. 28), Central Michigan (Nov. 29) and Kansas (Nov. 30).

Duke will come back home and host the Big Ten/ACC Challenge on Thursday, Dec. 5 against Purdue.  Following the contest versus the Boilermakers, the Blue Devils will take senior Richa Jackson home to the state of Oklahoma to face the Oklahoma Sooners on Dec. 8.

On Tuesday, Dec. 17, Cameron Indoor Stadium will host the Jimmy V Classic with a game against defending NCAA Champion Connecticut at 7 p.m., on ESPN2.

Duke will close the non-conference portion of its schedule with a home contest against Albany on Dec. 19, on the road at Kentucky on Dec. 22 and a home game versus Old Dominion on Jan. 2.  The trip to Lexington, Ky., will take Blue Devil freshman Rebecca Greenwell home.

Duke will open the ACC slate on Sunday, Jan. 5 at Georgia Tech and will feature seven other road league games – Syracuse (Jan. 9), Virginia Tech (Jan. 19), Florida State (Jan. 23), Miami (Jan. 30), Clemson (Feb. 6), Notre Dame (Feb. 23) and North Carolina (March 2).

The ACC Tournament will be held March 5-9 in Greensboro, N.C., as Duke once again faces some of the stiffest competition in the nation in league play.
