Prior to Duke: Four-year letterwinner in track & field at Robert E. Lee High School...four-time winner of high school's Female Track Athlete of the Year (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012)...three-time Female Cross Country Athlete of the Year (2009, 2010, 2011)...recipient of 2011 All-District Academic Team and the 2011 S.T.E. M. Scholar Athlete Award...lettered one year on the tennis team...served as president of the National Honor Society her senior year.

Personal: Born August 3, 1994...Daughter of Tony and Lorie Blount...has one younger sister (Alexandra)...mother Lorie ran track at the United States Military Academy from 1982-1986.
