DURHAM, N.C. - With the NBA All-Star game approaching, Kyrie Irving and Luol Deng will represent their teams in the game in Houston. Irving continues his terrific season, scoring 30 or more points in four of his past six games, while Carlos Boozer continues to be among the leaders in double-doubles. JJ Redick posted a strong month in January, highlighted by a 31-point game against the Pistons on Jan. 27.

Shane Battier
Forward - Miami Heat
Drafted: 1st Round (6th pick) by the Memphis Grizzlies (2001)
2012-13 Stats
: 39 games, 5.6 PPG, 2.3 RPG, 0.7 APG, 0.4 SPG, 0.9 BPG
Battier continues to have success this season for the Heat. Battier began the month of February by registering 11 points in a 102-89 loss to the Indiana Pacers. In the game, Battier's three-of four field goals came from beyond the arc. The 11th-year pro had four consecutive games with two or more blocks. He ranks in the top-20 in the league in three-pointers made per 48 minutes played, as well as in the top-50 in blocks per 48 minutes.

Elton Brand 
Forward - Dallas Mavericks

: 45 games, 7.3 PPG, 6.5 RPG, 1.0 APG, 0.6 SPG, 1.3 BPG
Brand has continued his solid play into the month of February, recording 10 rebounds in two games this month. In a 110-95 win over the Suns on Jan. 27, Brand scored 12 points on 6-of-10 shooting. Brand continues to shine as a shot blocker this season, including a four block game over Phoenix in his first game in February. Brand is ranked in the top-25 in the league in blocks with 57.

Carlos Boozer 
Forward - Chicago Bulls
Drafted: 2nd Round (35th pick) by the Cleveland Cavaliers (2002)

: 45 games, 15.7 PPG, 9.6 RPG, 2.0 APG, 0.7 SPG, 0.5 BPG
Boozer was sidelined three games with a hamstring injury, but returned to the Bulls lineup on Feb. 4 in a 111-101 Bulls loss against the Pacers. In his return, Boozer finished the game with 10 points. The 10-year pro finished the month of January scoring in double figures in 14 of 15 games. Boozer ranks fifth in the NBA with 24 double-doubles on the year, as well as ranking 13th in rebounds per game.

Luol Deng 
Forward - Chicago Bulls
Drafted: 1st Round (7th pick) by the Phoenix Suns (2004)

: 43 games, 17.2 PPG, 6.7 RPG, 3.0 APG, 1.1 SPG, 0.4 BPG
Chicago's leading scorer this season, Deng has been rewarded for his terrific season with his second consecutive NBA All-Star Game selection later this month in Houston, Texas. Deng returned to the Bulls lineup after missing five games with a hamstring injury. It did not take long for the eight-year pro to acclimate himself to the lineup. Deng recorded his sixth double-double of the year in his second game back, with 12 points and 13 rebounds in a 104-88 Bulls win over Milwaukee. In a game on Feb. 2, Deng scored a game-high 25 points, while dishing five assists and four blocked shots in the game. Deng leads the NBA in minutes played per game at 39.6.

Chris Duhon 
Guard - Los Angeles Lakers
Drafted: 2nd Round (38th pick) by the Chicago Bulls (2004)

: 39 games, 3.3 PPG, 1.7 RPG, 3.3 APG, 0.5 SPG, 0.0 BPG
Duhon continues to play an important role for the Lakers off the bench this season playing solid defense and minimizing turnovers. Duhon, who ranks fourth in the NBA in assists per turnover at 3.71, is averaging less than one turnover per game at 0.89. In a game on Jan. 25 against the Jazz, Duhon dished six assists. He has recorded 10 or more assists in 10 games this season. 

Mike Dunleavy 
Forward - Milwaukee Bucks
Drafted: 1st Round (3rd pick) by the Golden State Warriors (2002)

: 41 games, 11.3 PPG, 4.0 RPG, 2.1 APG, 0.6 SPG, 0.5 BPG
Dunleavy continues his good play for the Bucks, scoring in double figures in 11 of his past 13 games. This month, the 10th-year pro recorded has posted 10 or more points in three of four games. In a game on Jan. 29, Dunleavy scored 17 points on 7-of-13 shooting from the floor in a 117-90 win over the Pistons. Dunleavy ranks fourth in the NBA in three-point field goal percentage at .440. Dunleavy is the third leading scorer for the Bucks this season, averaging 11.3 points per game.

Gerald Henderson
Guard - Charlotte Bobcats
Drafted: 1st Round (12th pick) by the Charlotte Bobcats (2009)

: 34 games, 12.5 PPG, 3.3 RPG, 1.9 APG, 1.0 SPG, 0.4 BPG
Henderson has scored in double figures in each of the three games he has played in the month of February, scoring 15 points in a 109-95 loss to the Rockets. In the game, Henderson finished 5-of-8 from the floor and made each of his five free-throws. Henderson ranks in the top-50 in the league in free-throw percentage and has missed just one foul shot in his past eight games.

Grant Hill 
Forward - Los Angeles Clippers
Drafted: 1st Round (3rd pick) by the Detroit Pistons (1994)

: 14 games, 4.3 PPG, 2.1 RPG, 1.3 APG, 0.5 SPG, 0.1 BPG
Hill's minutes on the floor have been increasing since he returned to the Clippers lineup Jan. 12. He played a season-high 25 minutes in his last game in a 86-76 win against the Magic. In each of his past two games, Hill has tallied three assists, while recording two steals against the Magic. Hill scored a season-high eight points in his second game of the season, a 99-73 win over the Grizzlies.

Kyrie Irving 
Guard - Cleveland Cavaliers

: 38 games, 23.9 PPG, 3.6 RPG, 5.4 APG, 1.7 SPG, 0.3 BPG
Kyrie Irving will make the first NBA All-Star Game appearance of his career later this month in Houston, Texas, as the second-year pro continues his terrific play this season. Irving played a pivotal role in the Cavs three game winning streak, scoring at least 30 points in wins over Boston (40), Milwaukee (35) and Toronto (32). In the game against the Raptors, Irving hit a straight away three with less than one second on the clock to win the game for the Cavs, 99-98. One night earlier in a 113-108 win over the Bucks, Irving tallied the last six points of the game to seal the victory for the Cavs. Earlier this week, Irving scored a game-high 35 points in a 115-110 win over the Thunder, scoring 13 of the final 15 points of the game for the Cavs. Irving currently ranks sixth in the NBA in scoring with 23.9 points per game this season.

Dahntay Jones 
Guard/Forward - Dallas Mavericks
Drafted: 1st Round (20th pick) by the Boston Celtics (2003)
2012-13 Stats
: 46 games, 3.5 PPG, 1.5 RPG, 0.6 APG, 0.2 SPG, 0.1 BPG
Jones has played in 46 of 49 contests this season for the Mavericks, while starting 13 games. He tallied 11 points in a Jan. 27 win over the Suns, while shooting 4-of-5 from the field. In the game, Jones also recorded three assists. He ranks in the top-50 in free throw percentage and free-throw attempts per 48 minutes played.

Corey Maggette
Forward - Detroit Pistons
Drafted: 1st Round (13th pick) by the Seattle SuperSonics (1999)

: 18 games, 5.3 PPG, 1.4 RPG, 1.1 APG, 0.3 SPG, 0.1 BPG
After being acquired by the Detroit Pistons over the summer, has appeared in 18 games this season coming off the bench. He has scored in double figures in two contests, with his season-high 11 points coming in a 103-83 Pistons win over the Celtics.  He has not played since Dec. 15 against the Pacers.

Josh McRoberts
Forward - Orlando Magic
Drafted: 2nd Round (37th pick) by the Portland Trail Blazers (2007)

: 39 games, 3.9 PPG, 3.5 RPG, 1.8 APG, 0.2 SPG, 0.3 BPG
McRoberts has played 39 games this season for the Magic, while starting in two games. The fifth-year pro tallied six assists in a 78-61 loss against Philadelphia Feb. 4. McRoberts has scored a season-high 12 points on two occasions, including in a 125-119 loss against Portland.

Miles Plumlee

Plumlee has bounced back and forth between the D-League and the NBA over the past several weeks. Plumlee recorded three consecutive double-doubles at the D-League level from Jan. 18-31.The rookie appeared in one game for the Pacers on Jan. 30, recording three rebounds in a 98-79 win over the Pistons.  Plumlee was sent back to the D-League and is currently playing for the Mad Ants. 

J.J. Redick

Redick finished the month of January on a high note, averaging 22 points per game over his final three games of the month. Redick scored 31 points in a narrow 104-102 loss against the Pistons, while scoring 29 points two games later against the Knicks in Madison Square Garden. After opening the month of February with 15 points in back to back contests, Redick missed the last game for the Magic against the Clippers with a right shoulder injury.

Austin Rivers 
Guard - New Orleans Hornets

Rookie Austin Rivers has continued the strong start to his NBA career, scoring eight or more points in three of his past five games. Rivers scored nine points on Feb. 2 against the Timberwolves and also on Jan. 29 against the Lakers. He has played in 48 games for the Hornets this season, while starting in 22.

Kyle Singler 
Forward - Detroit Pistons

In just his rookie season, Singler has found a starting role for the Pistons for the majority of the year. He has started 42 of the 50 games he has played this season. Singler has started the month of February on a strong note, scoring in double figures in three of four contests. In a 117-99 win over the Cavs, Singler posted a career-high 20 points, while grabbing eight boards. Singler ranks 38th in the league in three-point shooting percentage at .387-percent and ranks eighth among rookies in scoring.

Nolan Smith 
Guard - Portland Trail Blazers

Smith has started the month of February on a strong note, including scoring a season-high 13 points in a 105-99 win over the Utah Jazz. Smith played 18 minutes in the contest and was 5-of-7 from the floor, including 2-of-3 from beyond the arc. Two nights later, Smith scored seven points on 2-of-3 shooting, while dishing three assists.

Lance Thomas 
Forward - New Orleans Hornets

: 40 games, 2.5 PPG, 2.2 RPG, 0.3 APG, 0.2 SPG, 0.1 BPG
In his second season with the Hornets, Thomas has seen playing time in 40 contests, while starting nine games. He scored a season-high 10 points in a 102-81 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Dec. 3.
