2013-14: Competed twice during the fall season…returned to competition for the ACC Cross Country Championships (11/1), placing 58th in a 6K time of 22:00.2…also competed at the Southeast Region Championships (11/15), placing 144th overall in a time of 23:04.5…did not compete during the 2014 track season.

2012-13: Garnered All-America accolades in her first season of collegiate cross country, placing 20th at the NCAA Championships with a personal-best mark of 20:03.4 over 6K...also earned all-region honors with a ninth-place performance at the NCAA Southeast Region Championship...crossed the line in sixth at the ACC Championship to receive All-ACC recognition...named to the All-ACC academic squad for women’s cross country...Indoors, Duke’s top performer in the 3,000 where she clocked 9:41.38 to finish third at the Armory Collegiate…competed in the 5,000 at the ACC Indoor Championships where she finished 8th overall with time of 16:41.29, scoring a valuable point for the team score…did not compete during the outdoor season.

2011-12: Did not compete during the 2011-12 seasons...named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.

Prior to Duke: Completed prep career under the direction of Monique Guidry at Boulder High School...two-time individual state champion in cross country...also won a state title in track & field, placing first in the 3,200m as a sophomore...selected the Gatorade Colorado Cross Country Female of the Runner of the Year as a senior and junior...also named Girls Athlete of the Year by ESPNRise Colorado and the Cross Country Athlete of the Year by the Denver Post as a junior...a first team All-American honoree at the Foot Locker Cross Country National Championships her junior year after taking fourth overall...captured the crown at the 2009 USATF National Cross Country National Championships...recipient of the Colorado Running Hall of Fame High School Distance Running Achievement Award and the Sportswomen of Colorado Cross Country Running Award...member of the National Honor Society...earned a spot on the high honor roll.

Personal: Daughter of Steve and Cynthia Lakowske...born Feb. 24, 1993...has one brother, Derek...aunt, Risë Alexander, coached golf at Oregon State University from 1990-2013 and competed professionally from 1977-81...cousin, Joey Lakowske, played baseball at Oregon State and was a member of the Beavers' national championship team.
