Honors: ACC Academic Honor Roll (2014)

2013-14: Posted a strong freshman campaign…specialized in the javelin…acted as Duke’s top performer in the javelin…Outdoors, opened her college career by recording the second-farthest javelin throw in Duke history, sending the implement 164-6 (50.15) at the Carolina Relays (3/22)…saw first-place performances at the Carolina Relays (3/22), Joe Hilton Invitational (4/12) and the Texas Relays (3/27)…qualified for the ACC Outdoor Championships (4/18), placing fifth in her first conference championship with a mark of 157-5 (47.99)…placed 20th at the NCAA Preliminary Round (5/29) with a distance of 154-5 (47.07).

Prior to Duke: Three year letterwinner under John Kotchmar at Tamaqua Area High School…placed third in the javelin at the 2012 Junior Nationals…placed fifth in the event at the 2011 New Balance Outdoor Nationals and 2011 World Youth Trials…two-time Times News Track and Field Athlete of the Year (2012, 2013) and Republican Herald Track and Field Athlete of the Year (2012, 2013)…also lettered three years in basketball…member of the National Honor Society. 

Personal:  Daughter of Maura and Mark Streisel…born June 20, 1995…has two older brothers, Mark and Michael, one older sister Elise and a twin sister Maria.
