Honors: ACC Academic Honor Roll (2015)
2014-15: Indoors, opened the season at the Hokie Invitational (1/23), placing second in the 800 with a 1:54.43 and taking fourth in 600, clocking a 1:20.98…produced his best 800 time of the season at the VT Challenge (2/20), crossing the finish line in 1:52.92 to claim fourth…ran a 2:05.30 in the prelims of the ACC Indoor Championships (2/27), finishing 34th overall…ran the anchor leg of the 4x800 squad that finished first at the Armory Invitational (1/31), combining for a 7:31.86…Outdoors, clocked a 1:51.00 at the Duke Twilight (5/7) to place 10th overall in the 800…finished 23rd at the Georgia Tech Invite (4/18), completing the two-lap race in a time of 1:52.93…handled third-leg duties for Duke’s 4x800 at the Penn Relays (4/25), helping the team place eighth with a 7:25.39 showing, the third-fastest time in school history…named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.
2013-14: Indoors, in his first year with Duke, led off the first-place finishing 4x800 at the Millrose Games (2/15) that ran 7:30.06, the fourth-fastest time in school history…ran 800 twice with a season-best converted time of 1:52.69 at the Dick Taylor Challenge (1/24)…Outdoors, opened with a 1:53.01 in the 800, placing fifth at the VertKlasse Meeting (4/5)…anchored a first-place finishing 4x400 at the Joe Hilton Invitational (4/12).
Prior to Duke: Four year letterwinner under Kevin Buckley at Kellenberg Memorial High School…three-time All-America honoree as a member of the 4x800, earning the indoor national title in the event once in his career…anchored his high school 4x800 relay team to a second place finish at the New Balance Outdoor Nationals, clocking a split of 1:49.5…garnered All-State honors in the 4x800 and 600 meters…named to the All-League team eight times and earned six intersectional titles…also picked up All-League honors in cross country…member of the National Honor Society and served as a Mineola Junior Firefighter.
