Andrew Brodeur: I mostly like "The Wire".
GoDuke.com: Do you have any embarrassing music on your iPod?
AB: A song called "The Best of Friends" from "The Fox and the Hound" [laughs].
GoDuke.com: What is your favorite movie?
AB: "Happy Gilmore".
GoDuke.com: What is on your bucket list?
AB: I'd like to go to Europe and see all the countries over there. I've studied a lot of them, but I haven't actually been there.
GoDuke.com: Do you have any superstitions or pre-race rituals?
AB: I do an odd number of strides. One of them is just a walk back, I don't know why.
GoDuke.com: What is the biggest obstacle you've had to overcome athletically?
AB: Not getting sick. I've had strep throat three times in the past three years.
GoDuke.com: What is your favorite home-cooked meal?
AB: My mom used to make this stuff called bayou chicken. It's kind of like a hot chicken dish with vegetables. It's my favorite.
GoDuke.com: Can you cook? If so, what are you good at making?
AB: My cooking is mostly limited to breakfast. I can make good sausage and eggs.
GoDuke.com: What has been your favorite class at Duke?
AB: I really like my forensic anthropology class. It's EVANTH 143 - Bodies of Evidence. It's pretty interesting.
GoDuke.com: What has been your toughest class at Duke?
AB: Anything that has chemistry in it.
GoDuke.com: Who has had the most impact on your life?
AB: My two older sisters. They are very successful and kind of have laid the railroad tracks for me. They've experienced a lot of stuff that I get to take away from now.

AB: Surprising.
GoDuke.com: Who would you trade places with for a day?
AB: Anybody in the band Blink-182.
GoDuke.com: Who is your dream date?
AB: Blake Lively.

AB: It was a Dodge 4x4 red pickup truck.

AB: I'd like to be able to sing relatively well, but I can't.
