DURHAM, N.C.-  The cross country season has officially come to a close and the women on the cross country team will soon begin focusing on the upcoming indoor track season.  Recently, sat down with Senior distance runner Suejin Ahn to learn more about the Setauket, New York native. What embarrassing music you have on your IPod?
SA: I don't know if it is embarrassing, but I have Britney Spears. I am a BIG fan! What is your favorite movie?
SA: That's a hard question. It is probably hard to say my all-time favorite, but one of them is Ferris Bueller's Day Off. What is on your bucket list?
SA: I have a lot of things on my bucket list, but one of the top ones would be to travel the world. What is the biggest obstacle you've ever had to overcome?
SA: I don't know. Let me think about this....I guess just getting through injuries. I have battled a couple of them here and there. What is your favorite home cooked meal?
SA: So, my mom doesn't really cook that much, so it is hard to be sure. I am a big fan of Korean food probably because I am Korean. I don't know if my mom necessarily cooked it though. What is your favorite class at Duke?
SA: I would say the one I am in right now. It is called Making Social Policy. It is a Public Policy class, and it is just really applicable to real life. We work with social policy makers around the whole Durham community. I just feel like I will be able to take away a lot from the class. Where do you like to study on campus??
SA: On campus, I switch around, but a lot of times a couple of my teammates and I go to the third floor of Bostock in the Carpenter Reading Room. Who has had the most impact on your life and why?
SA: I would say my parents because they have just given me all the values that I have grown up with, and they are always supporting me whether it be academically or athletically, in just all aspects of life. I know that they are always there for me. Describe Coach Jermyn in one word.
SA: Meticulous. Can you cook? If so, what are you good at?
SA: My roommate and I have been taking on some cooking challenges here and there because we live off campus and have our own kitchen this year. I don't know if you would say that we are great cooks, but we get by. I guess one of the dishes that we can make is stir fry. I can also make some really good Quinoa salad. It is really good! Who is your dream date?
SA: Currently, let's go with Ryan Gosling! What is your worst habit?
SA: Probably saying like a lot! What was your first car?
SA: I still haven't had my first car. I drive around my family car. I brought it down this year just to have a mode of transportation, but it is not actually my car. It is my family's car, and I have yet to own one. I wish I knew how to _______________.
SA: Surf! What is your favorite place to eat around Durham?
SA: There are a lot of good ones around here now. My favorite one would probably be Pops!
