Prior to Duke: Four year letterwinner in cross country and track & field under Dan Replogle at Winters Mill High School…member of the three-time AA Maryland State Cross Country Champions (2009, 2010, 2011)…two-time county champion (2011, 2012)…tabbed as Carroll County Times Runner of the Year in 2011 and 2012.
