Sixth-ranked Duke hits the road for the second time this season to face No. 11 Georgetown Saturday, March 9 at 2:30 p.m. in Washington, D.C. ... The Blue Devils moved up two spots in the IWLCA Coaches Poll this week following a 15-12 victory over Vanderbilt last weekend in Koskinen Stadium ... No. 11 Georgetown enters the weekend matchup undefeated at 4-0. The Hoyas recorded a 15-8 win over then-No. 18 Stanford in Palo Alto, Calif., in their last outing on March 5.
Georgetown Series History
Saturday's contest marks the 21st all-time meeting between Duke and Georgetown. The Blue Devils hold a 13-7 advantage in the all-time series ... Duke has won eight of the last nine meetings between the two schools, including three straight games.

The last meeting between the two teams came in Durham on March 10, 2012 ... The Blue Devils' defense, highlighted by Mollie Mackler's season-high 18-save performance, propelled the squad to a 14-7 win over Georgetown ... 2012 graduate Amanda Jones and junior Maddy Morrissey both netted hat tricks in the victory ... Senior Makenzie Hommel and sophomore Kerrin Maurer have both started the 2013 season in strong fashion ... Maurer is the team's leader in goals (16), assists (14) and points (30) while Hommel ranks second in goals (15) and points (19) through the first six games ... Hommel needs just 19 points and Maurer 21 to reach the 100-point mark for their careers ... Maurer is also approaching the 50-assist mark with 38 in just her second season.
